Good brother

It's a good brother who, when realizing his sisters don't want to play what he's playing, asks his sisters, "Wanna play babies?"

Now, before you think he's too magnanimous, you need to realize that when all three of them play babies, they're super babies. Each with a super power. Each working to beat the bad guys using their power. There's definitely not bottles and coddling and the like.

But he's still a good brother. We'll keep him!

Not quite there yet

Tonight at bedtime, Laura prayed first. Then I prayed after her. The last thing I prayed was that we'd remember that Easter was about Jesus dying on the cross for us and that it's not about candy. Before I even got to say amen, Laura followed up with, "and please tell me where at least some of the Easter eggs are. Amen."

Methinks we still have some work to do...

The Flash, and Batman, and Superman ... oh my!

Am I the only one who finds their children reading superhero books ...

...on the couch under a blanket

...surrounding Grandma

...by the light of the hotel bathroom while the littler sister sleeps

...while Mommy packs stuff up to check out of the hotel in the morning

...in the second row of the van

...in the third row of the van

...every night at bedtime?

Am I? Because, if I'm not, then I'd like to hear from others of you what superhero chapter books there are that we haven't found yet. They love the DC Novels and have read the Superman, Batman, some of the Wonder Woman (we got those from an out-of-town library when we were visiting that town for a weekend), The Flash, and Green Lantern. The Batman Bold something-or-other that Evan's reading in the bottom picture is a new series to us. Our library just got a couple of them.
Any suggestions anyone?
