Laura was taking off her jammies tonight at bedtime so she could take off her underwear and get a diaper for overnight. She started trying to do her "naked walk", but I was holding on to her, so it was more of a naked dance. I asked her if she was doing her naked dance.
Laura: Uh-huh! I'm going to be naked!
Mommy: When?
Laura: I'm going to sleep naked! And then I'm going to get stickers until I die!
Hmmm...Maybe we should start downplaying that whole you-get-stickers-if-you-sleep-all-night-and-sleep-until-it's-all-the-way-morning-and-if-your-diaper-is-still-dry thing...

The power of prayer
Kendra: We could pray to God to shut the windows so there wouldn't be so much wind.
Time for a vocabulary lesson
Kendra's walking down the hall toward the girls' room. Laura is following close behind her.
Kendra: I want to be alone. [Looks back at Laura.] That means you don't follow me.
Laura: But I want to be alone too!

Communication issues
Yesterday, I reminded Laura several, several, several times that she should stay sitting on the little potty and holler for me when she's done and needs wiped. I explained to her that when she stands up to get toilet paper, the drips run all the way down to her feet instead of staying on her bottom where they should be.
When this information seemed to have no effect on her desire to get toilet paper, I told her that if she'd like to get the toilet paper for me to wipe her with, then she should use the big potty so she can just reach over for the toilet paper instead of having to stand up.
So, the next time she went potty, she
-went on the little potty
-stood up
-got toilet paper
-wiped herself
-put the used toilet paper in the big potty
-dumped the content of the little potty's bucket into the big potty
-climbed up on the big potty and sat down
-and got toilet paper for me to wipe her with
I think we have a communication problem.
