Yesterday at lunch, Evan leans over and whispers in my ear,

"How is she so amazingly cute in that shirt?!"

I lean over and whisper to him in an equally quiet tone,

"Which one?"

"Kendra."

I later whispered his compliment to Kendra but told her she had to keep it a secret since I thought Evan must not want her to know he thought she was cute.

And, while she appreciated the compliment, I think it did more for me than for her.

Nearly melted my heart to hear my little guy say something so sweet about his first sister!
