Lessons from the sprinkler

1. Sprinklers are fun.

2. Evan is cute. Even when he's having a time-out and is upset that I'm taking a picture of him.

3. It takes time to be brave.

4. Wait in line patiently.

5. Always take turns.

6. Bravery can show up a little at a time.
"Look, Mommy! I got it!"

7. Distractions are everywhere. Especially when there's a piece of shiny streamer in the yard.

8. Siblings are great friends.

9. It's hard to drink water out of a sprinkler.

10. Sprinklers are fun.

11. Sprinklers are still fun.

11. Laura can run away from a picture even while playing in the sprinkler.

12. Mommies can stay busy for a long time with a camera.

13. Evan is irresistible.

Favorite random pictures of late

Hi!

Quiet house after a trip to the library.

Blue eyes x3 (or would that be x6?)

Fun in the tub.

My mom and her siblings, with their mom.

A picture for Kendra that God turned the sky pink for her even though she was already asleep.

Laura and her jammies she turned inside out (and put back on) in bed before going to sleep one night.

The girls playing quietly in our room.

Evan reading Calvin & Hobbes again.

My hands after pitting cherries one afternoon.

More Calvin & Hobbes reading.

"See? Has piggytails!"

Playing dress up.

Laura when asked to smile for a picture.

"Has printzels!" (aka pretzels)

Chad's grandpa taking a picture of me, taking a picture of him.

Chad's (paternal) grandparents and their 5 great-grandkids.

Kendra letting me take a picture of her big "spring curl".

Little Miss Big Blue Eyes.

Once there was a ladybug and a turtle doing stickers...
No, wait. It's not a joke. It's just the girls dressed up to do stickers.

That's all the pictures for today. G'nite.

The eternal question

"Is person derson? No or yes?"

This is what Laura asked me in the van the other day. Being such an intriguing question (which we have no idea about the meaning of), it's been asked numerous times in our house the last few days. Sometimes Laura informs me that I'm person derson but she's not, and sometimes she's person derson but I'm not.

So what do you think -- Is person derson? No or yes?
