This month in years past

7 years ago, I liked trying to sneak a nap on the loveseat.

6 years ago, Evan was irresistible.

5 years ago, Evan loved books.

4 years ago, Kendra liked being close to Daddy and Evan.

3 years ago, Laura made faces when I'd take her picture.

2 years ago, Evan liked Legos and playing video games with Daddy.

1 year ago, Kendra liked holding onto a Daddy snuggle for as long as she could. 

Some things never change.

Ice cream

A couple of minutes ago, Laura brought me a pan from their little kitchen, set it on my desk, and said, "Here's your ice cream!"
A few seconds later, she took it off my desk while muttering, "I forgot to stir it. It's too hot."
Then a minute or so later, she returns with the pan and proclaims, "Here's your ice cream! It's ALL WARM!"

Nothing's quite so refreshing on a snowy March day as a bowl of warm ice cream!

Kendra's birthday

For Kendra's birthday,

she liked her balloon.

She liked her big box of dolls and clothes. 

She liked her balloon. 

She liked her pink Wiimote and dance game. 

She liked getting to break so many of the when-at-Daddy's-office rules. 

She liked choosing a lot of colors for her cake. 

She liked her cake to share with her cousin. 

She liked her cousin and sharing a party. 

She liked opening presents. 

She liked the balance beam. 

And, she liked her balloon. 

Overall, she liked her birthday!
