For Chad's parents' enjoyment ...
Evan: Today in math, the teacher asked us to write down how we found the answer. I wrote down B-R-A-I-N P-O-W-E-R.
Mommy: I'm pretty sure that's not what she meant.
Evan: I know, but that is how I found the answer. I used my brain power.
This so comes from Chad. Sigh...

"When can I sing on a platform?"
Earlier in December, the kids had their Christmas program at church on a Sunday evening. That morning, Chad's parents had sung in our church. A couple days later, Kendra asked when she'd get to sing on a stage or a platform by herself.
She wasn't quite by herself, but the kids did get to sing on their own in church this past Sunday evening.
To Chad's parents: Sorry about the small video size. I had to shrink it considerably to get it on here. The next time you're here, you can see it much bigger/clearer.
Oh, and if you're wondering what's going on at the very beginning of the video where I'm helping Kendra up ... I tripped her. As we were getting situated on the platform, I was sitting down on my knees because I didn't want to be the tallest one up there. But I stuck my feet out behind me just as Kendra was walking past, and she tripped on my feet. If only Chad had caught that part on the video too!

Empty promises
No, I haven't forgotten about posting Christmas pictures and Laura's birthday pictures. Maybe that can be my New Year's resolution -- to post pictures in a more timely fashion.
Nah, who are we kidding. That's just an empty promise!
