Frustrating is being the sole* getter-upper with the kids repeatedly during the wee hours of the morning.
Kindness is your husband telling you (in response to your begging and pleading) that yes, you can try to go back to sleep for a while after everyone's up for the day.
Love is your husband sticking his head back in the bedroom door and whispering, "you could also try to fly, but that's not going to happen either."
Bliss is when you wake up to the phone ringing at 9:36.
*It's not that Chad's not willing to get up with the kids; it's that the kids aren't willing to tell Daddy what's wrong in the middle of the night usually.

Letter to my husband
Dearest Chad,
You know how you cleaned off the bookshelf the other day. And how you put all of those magazines in the recycling. You know, the magazines that the kids like to cut pictures out of and glue on paper, but haven't been used in a few months. Remember that? Well, Kendra asked for a magazine to cut and glue from. Evan and Laura got excited and wanted to do it too. So, just so you know, all of those magazines came back in the house. I thought I'd tell you on here so you can "argh" in peace at the office.
You're welcome.
Lynnette

Satisfied thirst and cheap entertainment
During the last year or so, I've started taking water with us when we travel. Not a bottle or two of water for the ride, but enough water to last me the whole time we're gone. After numerous years of not feeling well while traveling, I've figured out that part of the problem is that I don't drink enough water while we're gone. Part of it is that our routine is different, and part of it is that I'm apparently a water snob and drink more water when it's "my" water from home. All that to say, when we're going to be traveling, I start saving milk jugs. But Chad seems to have an insatiable need to crush and recycle clean milk jugs that are being saved. To remedy this problem, I write simple notes like this on water jugs.
To rebut my jug notes, Chad does things like this.
Have I mentioned that Chad and I are very easily entertained?

Pity post
I was reminded today that I haven't posted for a while.
So this is a pity post.
A pity post is where I post something quickly without much thought or planning.
So, here's the pity post.
----------
I haven't had much time for blogging lately.
We've been too busy with mimicking each other
in posture (and attire and actions),
in attire (and posture and actions),
and in actions (and posture and attire).
----------
This ends today's pity post.
Regular blogging will resume again ... someday.
