Chad and the kids were playing one of the Poo Yoos demos on the Wii. They were doing the dance part. I was taking a video of it. Kendra asked, "why does it say, "Shake your bottom, oh"?"
Evan replied with, "It doesn't. It says 'ho'."
I told Chad, "I'm going to delete that video now."
Chad said, "Why? You don't think you need a video of Evan saying, "Shake your bottom, ho"?"
-----------------------
At supper, Evan was then insistent that it said "ho" at the end. We, also insistently, told him it didn't say that. He told me to go look it up online. I told him no, and that I knew it didn't say "ho".
He then decided to sing the song with his version of the last word.
That was the end of the discussion. He was told in no uncertain terms that it most certainly did not say "shake your bottom, ho" and that those words, when in that combination, were bad and that he could not sing it that way anymore.
He asked why. Chad told him we weren't explaining. He just had to accept it and stop.

Go, wobbly teeth, go!
I'm intrigued by how the alignment of Evan's teeth changes as they get loose.
The gap in his top teeth is new in the last few days,
since his two front teeth have gotten wobblier.
And I find it irresistible that our kids talk about "wobbly teeth"
instead of "loose teeth". It makes me smile.
Messes beget messes
Laura colored on her wall. She's using a damp rag to try and clean the crayon off her wall. She decided she needed more "wet" on the rag, so she ran her rag under the bathroom faucet and headed back to her room. Now she gets to clean up the bathroom counter, the bathroom floor, and her trail from the sink to her room.
Apparently toddler messes, like most cleaning/organizing projects, get worse before they get better.

Bestest
I have the best little boy ever. Do you think Chad would mind if, when he got home tonight, the supper mess was still on the table and the kitchen was still a wreck and laundry wasn't folded and I hadn't worked and I was up in Evan's bed snuggling him while he slept? Do you think that'd be ok?
